	Hello, is there an easy way to convert a string into a date ?

	depends on the format of the string but this is the generic process date(string)

	I have a very similar situation. However my string field is in the format of mm/yy. When I convert is it changes to mm/dd/yy. How can I convert the string to a mm/yy date?

	thre is no such thing in crystal as as a date field type that is not an actual full date. You can make it a date type and then display it as you want mm/yy by right clicking on the field and using the format options
