Im trying to edit a report I didn't make. it has a "running total" in it

Summary:
Field to Summarize: ado.uscode
Type of summary: count

Evaluate:
use a formula:

{ado.EventType} LIKE "Vacant Rented*"
and
{ado.Type} = "Occupancy"

please help.

add the date condition to the evaluate formula.

... and {ado.date_field} < the_date_it_should_stop

Then it will not add anything after to the total.

it did not work, with or without the 3rd "and" statement I still get the same results.

I also tried to copy the "running count" and so I have duplicates, with the only difference being the date, they both equal the same.

if duplicates then probably linking problem.
try connecting date fields or other field which could logically be connected in tables that you use for this report.
