 2        P1005
 3        P1006

so wherever the Account data is null i want to highlight with yellow color i tried all the way using formulae fields at background tab and highlight expert, this is not working, anybody can adivse asap?

in the format field, border tab, background x-2 button, you've tried something like:

if isnull({table.account}) then
  crRed
else
  crNoColor

Just checking as I would think that this would work

this might work
go to file
report options
check off convert null value boxes
this should pull them in as a zero.

try to create a variable where it contains:
if isnull({tbl.field}) then '-' else {tbl.field}
put this variable in the report.

then right click on this field and select 'Highlighting Expert...'
> click 'New'
in the right hand:
- value of = this field
  is equal to
  '-'

- background = silver (or red, as you want)
click OK.

check it.

the purpose of using variable is because we cannot see the field to select because of 'null' value for this field (this is my opinion).

hope it help.

regards,
emir
