Until you know why the rows are being excluded it would like give you the same results.
there is startswith
{Subscriptions.PRODUCT_CODE} startswith "CHAPT"
instr()
instr({Subscriptions.PRODUCT_CODE},"CHAPT",1)>0
so all of your records from Subscriptions that have "Chapt*"
also have the matching NAME row with member type in GEN,AC,AF,CO,FE,RES and paid_thru=12/31/2010 and a status="A"?

Yes, they all do have a member type and the chapter product. That's where I started to make sure that the records where setup correctly.

this is just weird then.
try a cut and paste of this.....
{Name.MEMBER_TYPE} in ["GEN", "AC", "AF", "CO", "FE", "RES"] and
{Name.PAID_THRU}= Date(2010,12,31) and
{Name.STATUS} = "A" and
({Subscriptions.PRODUCT_CODE} in ['GEN2011', 'AF2011', 'CO2011', 'FE2011', 'RES2011'] OR
{Subscriptions.PRODUCT_CODE} startswith "CHAPT")

Yes, definately weird...
The results are the same - it's just those 3 states that are still coming up short!
I do appreciate your help.

you said the amounts are there but the codes are not, correct?
are you doing conditional suppression on any field or rows?

DBlank you are OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!
I checked in the Detail Section & sure enough there was the suppression statement ({Subscriptions.PRODUCT_CODE}IN ['CHAPT/DC', 'CHAPT/AZ','CHAPT/VT']
I really appreciate you hanging in there!
This makes you the Superstar of the day!
Thanks for all your help...
This Buds for you!
