hi
i am working on a report for which i need to tell crystal to select from 6 guarantors
I only need crystal to look at guarantor number 1 if it equals "blue insurance" value
 
I have two fields i need to use-one is the guarantor order and the other is the guarantor name
 
i know i need to enter this formula in the select expert, the question is what would be formula look like
 
so i want crystal to pick guarantor 1 and only display if the guarantor name is "blue insurance"
 
i tried
table.guarantor = "1" and table.guarantor name= "blue insurance"
 
.but that did not work

There should either be an underline or no space in the table name (Table.Guarantor_Name or Table.GuarantorName) No spaces are allowed.

as far as I can tell, assuming the table name was misspelled with an extra space between guarantor/name it isn't wrong.

Is Guarantor a number field? Dont put in quotes then.

Your formula should look something like this
{table.guarantor} = "1" and {table.guarantor name}= "blue insurance"
