Hi, after 6 years of not working with crystal reports i'm having some difficulties picking CR up again. A lot has changed and the problem i'm running into is that when i add a parameter field with the goal to filter results it does ask me the value (even shows the DB values from the clickbox) but it does not use it to filter. In my example i have 2 administrations where i want the parameter field to show them both so the user can pick one administration to get financial value's for.

Like i said, the clickbox value for the parameter field shows, i select administration 1 (or 2) but my report data fills it with the combined value. Lets say in administration one there's a outstanding financial amount of 1k and in administration 2 is another 2k, the report will show me : 3k

I'm starting to get clueless where to apply something so it uses the parameter to actually filter on administration id.

Thanks for the read,

Assuming you are using one of the more recent versions, a "filter" on the data is done through record selection formulas.

You will need to create this formula, specifying the condition for whether a record should be retrieved or not.

ie: Table.Field = {?your_param}
