Is it possible to view the RecordSet that is created by linking tables? I'm linking approx 10+ tables and my report is taking extremely long to complete.

have you thought about using a stored proc to be the datasource of the report? Depending on how you code the sp, well, it shouldn't do any worse and is, in general much more flexible than CR in record selection.
If you have large tables that you are linking together and depending on how CR does the linking and if they are inner or outer joins, it could be an awful lot of records for CR to sort through.
