Hello, I have a dded a field to my report to show our parts extended description, but I want that to display based on the part number itself. I am familiar with dlookup, but not sure how to perform this in Crystal.

link to the table that you would use for the dlookup and link the 2 tables together, or add the part number to the report.
you can't use dlookup in CR. You need to retrieve all the data that your report needs at one time. CR will not go back to the database to get more data. The exception to this is a subreport, but you are looking to gather information which is known, and so should be a brought in all at once.
