I want to create a new group for Supplier and maintain current grouping of Vouchers. Problem, supplier not on account 2010's.   I then want to sum by Supplier and trns cd 51.

voucher   journal  seq  account supplier   amount       trns cd
1212
               1000      1     1010      32         100.00          50
               1000      2     1010      32         300.00          50
               1000      3     2010                 -400.00          51
1222
               1000      9     1010      99          15.00          50
               1000     10    2010                  -15.00           51
2525
               3653      1     1010      32          163.00         50
               3653      2     1010      32          200.00         50
               3653      3     2010                  -363.00         51

you can change the value to what yuo want usinga formula field and then group on that formula field rather than the supplier field
if isnull(table.supplier) then 'None listed' else totext(table.supplier,0,"")

Thanks for the response.  Using the suggested formula the isnull has been replaced with 'None Listed, I need the nulls to be replaced by the  supplier number associated to the trns cd 50's for the same voucher.  In the case, I would need 32, 99 , 32 to replace the nulls in the formenation example.

i doubt you will be able to do that in crystal. You would need to use a previous() function which cannot be used and then grouped on.
