Hi
 
I have created a report that looks at the percentage of take up of a product. looks at clients, what they buy and who buys part. item.
 
Some clients buy studied product twice.
 
Have grouped by client. Have set studiedproduct to 1 else 0
For each group (or client) distinct count for said product = 1.
 
Now want t count the number of distinct counts, and use this value in a formula later to calculate the percentage take up.
 
I am unable to sum the number of 1s. Any help much appreciated.

you can summarize a field that uses a summary.
If you show some sample data nd how you want it calculated someone may give you an alternative that works

Many thanks for your reply. I think I figured it out by using a 3 way running total formula to count the summaries.
