Trying to do a report with 3 groups
ex.
G1 Courses
G2 Offerings
G3 Person
G4 Time stamp (hours per Day)
what i am trying to do is to get the total hours a STUDENT(G3) would have done in a COURSE(G1)... but all i am getting is the total in the OFFERING(G2), is there a way to do a sum or running total without factoring G2...

well, as described, the student has to be in an offering of the course. If the course is not in the offering, then the student won't have any hours.
If you are looking for time that a student has done in a class irrespective of whether it is in a current offering, then you will probably need to remove grouping, or change your grouping order so that the offering does not filter out Courses that you desire to see.

Thank you, I thought it would be possibble to have a formula not factor in the G2(Offering) and have the hours only count based on the Total hours that person took in the Course(G1)
its for a Roster type report, but the student is registered for 1 course but can be in multiple Offerings... and we need to report on the offering so the instructor can see how many hours the student has done UTD
