I am looking to add a comment in to an invoice that will automatically say "Please pay in USD" when the amount owing is in USD. How do I do this? I need this information ASAP.

Thanks,
-PG

do you have a field that distinguishes when an amount is owed in USD? If so, just create a formula that is the text based of the currency type field. So something like:

if {table.currencytype}='USD'
     then 'Please pay in USD'
          else ""

Place the field where it needs to display and it will only show if the currency type is USD.

If you were looking at your data, how would know if something needed to be paid in USD ?  The field to distinguish when an amount is owed in USD must be part of your data already.  Otherwise how would you know ?  Create a formula as suggested by FrnhtGLI and use the condition to determine if it should be paid in USD as the first part of the formula.  Does that make sense ?

It does make sense; however, there is no field to distinguish when an amount is owed in USD, at least i cannot see one. We are trying to figure out how to create a field to let our customer know we require them to pay in USD.

How do you determine which customers need to pay in USD and which don't?
