	Hi There, I'm new to CR. I'm summarising on salesperson, in db for some rows we don't have salesperson name. When i create chart on their sales for each person it shows the correct count and for no salesperson it says 0 where we have 20 rows. how do i get this to work.

	likley this is a NULL value instead of an empty string try replacing the NULL in a formula and then using the formula for your grouping or charting if isnull(namefield) then 'No salesperson' else namefield Edited by DBlank - 11 Feb 2011 at 8:39am

	Thanks a lot for the information. Since i'm new there can be some dump question to you. Sorry for that. how do i make my chart to point to this. Since that is riding on salesperson column, it is giving me 0 for that.

	i assume you are using a bar chart in the chart expert go to the Data Tab and change the 'On Change of' to use the formula field
