Hi,

I have a report that has the following sections:

PHb
PHc
PHd
PHe
PHf
Da
Db
Dc

PHd and PHe have objects that have null values. When the record with null values is displayed, the Details sections (Da, Db and Dc) move up i.e the report moves up and down depending on the presence of null values.

I would like the report to have the same formatting or alignment irrespective of null values in the Page Headers i.e I don't want theĀ  report to move up if there are null values in PHd and PHe.

Can someone please guide.

NOTE - PHb has Customer Id - Each page has a new Customer Id and the corresponding details of that customer are displayed in the consecutive sections

Thanks

Can someone please guide me on this. Will the CHR() be useful in maintaining a section height?

Having a little trouble following your design but...
If the sections have any field that are set to can grow yoor sections have the chance of 'moving up or down'
If that is not the case then try going into the section expert and making sure that all of the page headers 'Suppress Balnk section' are set to FALSE (unchecked).

I have solved the problem. The solution is a combination of creating a blank section with a text box (that has a CHR (13) function) + Can Grow + a bit of manual formatting.
