HI

I have a subreport that makes up the detail section of a report and sometimes spans more than one page but the header that is in the sub report never moves to the next page.

Is there any way that this can be done?

many thanks in advance

Yes, there is a way to do this.

1.  Create a top level group in the subreport where there will only be a single value when the subreport runs.  I usually use the field(s) from the link to the subreport for this.

2.  Set the group to "Repeat Header on Every Page".

3.  Put your subreport header information in the group header you just created instead of in the Report header section.

4.  Suppress the group footer section for the group you just created.
