From a Service Manager solution (HPSM) i'm trying to create a report that populates a date/time field from an oracle database. When I create a query directly on the database this field shows: 04 08:12:55, which is 4 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes and 55 seconds.

When I create a report in Crystal using this field, it shows: 05/01/4000 08:12:55. It seems that it cannot handle the 04 days. I have no idea how to change this strange format.

Could somebody help me out?

Thanks in Advance

as you said "...04 08:12:55, which is 4 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes and 55 seconds...".
in this case you cannot use this field as date/time.
because this is a result from some processes or a process.
and CR doesn't know 4 days from which date.

i think you only able to print it as it is (4 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes and 55 seconds).

but if you know the start date (or the end date) of the process then you can calculate it or you can do as you like.
you can check for 'Date' or 'CDate' function inside CR.

hope it help.

Emir,

Thanks for your reply.  How can I a format that's not a date format. Because it comes with a date format?

I though about you other suggestion but there too many variables to take into account (multiple date fields)

Thanks
