In my report, for Diagnosis codes (combination of test and numbers), i need to be able to only pull the first row diag for each patient.  Currently, if a patient has multiple diagnosis codes, the reports shows each on it's own row.

For example:
V123
B234
C123

I only want to see V123 which should be the primary diagnosis.

How do I do this?  (I'm new to Crystal by the way)

thanks

you can conditionally suppress the rows. likely you have a primary patientid so you can use that as your condition
table.patientid=previous(table.patientid)

or you can create a running total and use it as your condition.
Note that suppressed rows are still in the report and will be counted in summaries.
