Hi all,

First time posting to this forum.

I did a quick search, but was not able to find anything. Our company is going to Office 2010. As with the 2007 of office, the file extensions have changed for Excel and Access files. The group generating the file does not want to save them in backwards compatible formats any more. This is going to cause us issues with scripts that create reports as Crystal Report will not be able to natively open a XLSX or ACCDB. Yah, we could manually open the files and save them out to make them backwards compatible, but what a pain in the butt.

Does anyone know of a fix short of an upgrade (if there is one) to make Crystal Reports compatible with Office 2010 files?

Thank you in advance.

J
