Hi I am new to Crystal Reports - we have v8.5 Professional

I wrote an if statement below in a formula field

dateTimeVar rorder;
if {Test_Activities.ActivityType} = "RUG ORDERED DATE"
then rorder := {Test_Activities.StartDate}

It is returning the correct match but it is also returning date fields from other activity types that are blank I need to supress the blank ones from showing in the report how can I do this inside the formula itself not at the details section.

hi fredo,

it is actuly supressing the date values but i think you are displaying 'activity type' on the same report dats y it is showing blank values. if dis is the case then you can supress activity type field using same condition.
let me knw if u hav diffnrt problm.
