Hi I am new to crystal report designing. I have a requirement where i have to suppress a section based on a condition. The problem that i am having is, that suppressed section is still consuming space. But i dont want the suppressed section to consume that space. Can any one tell me how to solve this problem?

In the section expert there is a formula box next to the supress (no drill down) check box. That takes a boolean ie If true supress hide, if not (false) show.

This supresses the section (no space taken up) for me.  The only other item that is checked in the section expert is free form. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Also make sure your sections are tight on the fields you are not supressing. Crystal will show and oftern multiply the space left, possibily giving you the look not being supresses due to that column creating 2 inch’s of white space.

(Sorry in advance for the SP mistakes J )

Also sorry if this is no help. Im pretty new to crystal my self.

Actually i have attached three sub-reports. Apon some perticular condition i want to display the perticular report. Now when third report condition is satisfying then the first page is keeping it blank and showing the report from the second page on.

When first condition satisfies first report i am displaying
When second condition satisfies second report i am displaying
When third condition satisfies third report i am displaying

How to stop the report from leaving the first page blank?

place each sub repport on its own section (e.g GH1a, GH1b and GH1c)

now conditionally supress each section
