Hello,

I have a report that groups on a field, Field1. Field1 Group is supressed if andother field in the same table, Status, equals "23." If Field1 is populated and only comes up with one record then it cannot be supressed even if the Status field in this record is "23." I need that one record to show. Is there a way to check if the group had a previous record and if not to go ahead and ignore the command to supress?

Thank you for all your help!!

I don't know whether this will work in a suppress formula, but you could try something like this:

{table.status} = '23' and
((previous({table.field1}) = {table.field1}) or (next({table.field1}) = {table.field1}))
