     Posted: 01 Jul 2010 at 4:40am
I have five detail sections  in my report. I have to display the each details section based on a set of conditions. I see an option to suppress the detail sections but i would like to display say section details a when

rpttype = "RA" and isnull(BU) and ABU="50001"

and suppress it for the rest of the conditions.

Any Suggestions ?

Thanks,
Kiran

Hi
Depending on the conditions you will need to suppress the sections accordingly as per your e.g.

if you need to display section a details then in other sections you will need to check for when not (rpttype = "RA" and isnull(BU) and ABU="50001") actual syntax will vary so please check...

note:-it could get tricky as you will need to check different conditions to suppress and show the 5 sections.

Cheers

Thanks.

It is getting tricky and i am currently using how u suggested but was wondering if there was a way to add a condition to display the section rather than suppressing

Hi

If you could post the sample data, and  what results you want, I can play around and see what can be done.

Cheers
