The only way I can think of doing it is doing two charts and overlaying one on top of the other, you can make the background of one the charts transparent. Of course trying to get everthing to line up could be a lot of work.

Actually i am trying to combine bar chart and line chart, i selected the chart expert and in the options menu i selected transperent back ground but it is not working, please can you explain how to combine these two??

I have never tried it, it was a thought that it might work. You say it is not working?!? Are you saying that the one chart is not transparent? I was able to get the one chart transparent (only in preview mode). I did not do any further testing.

yes, if i place a line chart on the bar chart, and make line chart as trasparent then bar chart also shold visible but it is not happening, can you tell me the procedure this how to do this?
