Hi All,
  Actually in my stored procedure two columns are concatenated by using "/" symbol and in my report i need to split these two columns as separate and print one below the other.. i know we should use "INSTR" function but i am not gettin the way.. plz anyone can help ASAP ...
 
for ex: firstname/lastname and values are ajit/kumar
and the data in my report should have
  ajit
  kumar

if they can be in the same field you can use a replace
replace(field,'/',CHR(13))
 
if you have to seperate them you can use 2 instr formula
