Topic: how to pass parameter (number) to subreport Posted: 14 May 2010 at 4:08pm
I want to pass a parameter (number) to a subreport. i have a sub total in main report and i need to pass this value to sub report to have another calculation. example:
in main report:
A-B = C C is Sub Total.
in Sub report:
i need to use C + D = E (Grand total).
may i know how to do it? anyone can help me on this issue?

set the value that to pass to the subreport as a shared variable in the main report, then access it as a shared variable of the same name in the subreport.
