I have a distinct count field that changes dynamically everyday.  Is it possible to chart that days distinct count in a specific time span, say a month or so?

For example:

day one had 30 cases
day two had 27 cases
day three had 40 cases
etc..

And then show the increase/decrease from 30 to 27 to 40 on the graph.

showing an actual number as the the increase/decrease in the chart you cannot do although you could do that in a formula and palce it in the section
The other just adda chart
On change of=date field
Click on the Order button and make it for each day
Show value as a COUNT of the field you want to count

Maybe I explained it wrong.  The vertical label will be the distinct count for a certain field.  The horizontal label will be each day of the month.

Just like this:

My post suggestion does this other than the Horizontal will show as an actual day rather than 1,2,3..

That can be done using a formula and grouping on it instead of the date field
