I have a crystal report that shows high school student registered courses and the credits.
Then for each student ID group footer, I have a running total field to count the total course credits of the student, called totalcredits

I want to add this total credits field as a parameter too, so that when users run it, it will prompt for example the user enter count>5 etc.
But I cannot find running total can be a parameter.

or what is the best way to do this?

The purpose is when user runs the report, they can choose to run for example:

Alll students that have a credit count total is greater than 5.

or is greater than 10.etc.

Help please.

RTs are created basically last and cannot be used as for params. Use a insert Summary (sigmna sign) as a SUM instead.
Then in the select expert flip it to group selection and use your param there.
e.g.
SUM(field,group)>param
