Good morning,

At times I have a blank subreport next to a textbox. How do I suppress the textbox when the subreport is blank?

Thanks,
NK

Only way coming to mind is a very process intensive one.

You would have to run the subreport and create a shared variable in it that indicates if the report is going to return values or not. Place this in a section above/before where you have the report now.
Create that same shared varaible in the main report.
Use this shared variable as your suppression condition on the text.
Run the subreport (a second time) as you have it now for display purposes.

Ok, thanks. I even tried various ways with the text box in the subreport and it didn't work.
