I have a list of data that looks like this:

Date                  ID No      Value
01/01/10           123          $50
01/02/10           123         ($25)

Is there a way  I can amend the 'date' of the second item to that of the first if it has the same ID no' ?

e.g.

Date                  ID No      Value
01/01/10           123          $50
01/01/10           123         ($25)

There are ways that you can make is appear to be a different date...say you have a group on the ID, you can set a variable to the date in the first record and then display that value for all members of the group.

You could set a variable of some sort and use that (i'm thinking delimited string or array, but they're more work).  I'm not sure if you can change the value in the record selection formulas, but ordering becomes a concern as you can't guarantee that...at least I am not aware of that ability.  If you are getting the data from a stored proc, you can manipulate the date there.
