Hi, i have inherited a stock report, that is made up of two Groups.
Group 1 is the Product Catergory, Group 2 is the name of the stock item.
In G Footer 1 there is nothing & in G 2 Footer it has all the relevant information, including totals, actual stock, free stock etc.
What i need to do is to add a cost to the G2 Footer made up from a standard cost item & a Physical Stock figure which is a formula - physum:-

tonumber({c_cstwh.cs_freest}/{@Factor100}) + Sum ({@WOQty}, {c_cname.cn_ref})
To get the cost of the stock for the Group 2 is fine - a new formula called cost which consists of - cost*physum (the above formula) which i have placed in the G2 Footer & calculates correctly but when i want to add a total into the G1 footer to add up all these values for each Group 2 cost, i am not able to do add up all the cost formula's? As it does not offer me an option to use the formula cost in either a running total or summary field???

Hope this makes sense, please advise if you require anything else, i am using CR11 with rough knowledge!!

I am also having the same problem.  I have a report that is using @Balance Accumulators to total individual transactions and place the total into the GF2.  My GF1 is supposed to Subtotal all line items from GF2.  It works fine for Actual Costs and Billing Amounts, because those are subtotals of individual amounts.  However the Budget Amounts are being added multiple times - once for every cost transaction.

I'm stuck....any suggestions?

You can use a Running Total set to evaluate on per group and use that.
