I have designed a report and into it I want to build a sub report that will also allow me to have parameters ( in this case its dates) I want to be able to graph user inputs over specif dates in the sub report is this doable? And whats the easiest way to do this ?

Assuming you are not using the params for data selection in the main report...
If you create paramters in the sub report design they will appear for user entry at runtime of the main report. In the subreport design use the params in the select statement to filter that data as you want.
Basically you design it the exact same way you would if it were int he main report.

Hi lentil
Based on my experience, i usually use stored procedure as the datasource for both main report / subreport and create appropriate parameter on the report (if necessary) to be passed to stored procedure. The final step is to make link between your main report and subreport.
