I am having problem in printing reports in crystal reports. i am launching reports from an erp application. when i click print option in the toolbar, the report is not getting printed. I have placed a formula in that report. when i remove the formula, report is printing, but if have the formula the report is not printing. Can anyone help me, by telling, why this report is not printing.

we are checking whether the value is negative or not.

formula

Doing this formula on reportfield1

if reportfield1 ="-" then
0
else
reportfield2

this formula is placed in the report footer.
If this formula is removed, then it is printing

Please try this.

if(mid(totext({Command.tot}),1,1))="-"
then
0
else
{Command.tot}

here my tot field is integer.
this is working fine

It is working now. We tried opening the rpt in the latest installation of crytal reports. but will there be any problem by not updating the latest patch in the CR. 'cause just by adding one formula, print did not happen.
