in this case running total should work. can u give me details of your running total formula?
in my report i have used same.in my report i want sum of fabric qty used in one product. so i have grouped on product and in running total i have mentioned following details
field to summarize:- fabric_qty
type of summary:- sum
Evaluate-on change of field:- fabric_id
Reset-on change of field:- product_id
(fabric table having fabric_id,fabric_qty in database)
and i placed running toal field in group footer.
