Hi
I have a problem with crystal reports. I am doing a project, in that i want supress zero field (ie., da=0) in that place i want show another field (ie., hra=300)
basic=5000 gpf=50
da=0 gis=85
hra=300 cca=250
i want show hra in place of da, I need this one. any one help me...

Hi,
i would guess that you use one range to print out the data in your report.
i think you should maybe split that into more ranges. Then you can suppress these ranges and the underlying range will be displayed in that place.

basic ......

da ......... <- this one is suppressed if da=0 oder NULL
-------------------------------
hra ........ <- this range will then move up if the da
range is suppressed.
Another way i can not figure out, because if you suppress just one field the space of that field ist not released for other fields, they would never move to the suppressed space.
What you can also do is, place the hra an da field one above the other. You can then suppress one field if the other is display and vice versa.
It then would look like this:
-------------------------------
da/hra <-this one is only displayed when da is empty and da is suppressed if empty
hra <- this one is displayed if da is not suppressed otherwise it is suppressed.
