Topic: Export to Text introduces extra spaces and lines Posted: 11 Jan 2010 at 4:42am
We are using Crystal Reports XI. We have designed a report that works fine when we view it in the report viewer or in the pdf/html formats, however when we implicitly invoke the export to text, the format gets disturbed with additional spaces and lines introduced. I request for any help if some else has faced similar problem and found any solution.

In my experience, if you are exporting to text or excel, etc., then you need to make sure that your fields don't have gaps between them, and that they are all the same height and that the tops (or bottoms - take your pick) are aligned.
