I deisgned a report using Crystal Report XI.
My report has a parameter so basically when i refresh or open it up, it asks for a speific string to query the databse....
When i try to use the free Business Object Crystal report viewer, My parameter are not available for me to use.... it says that i need ot contact the report author (me)...
I gues si am confused, is there a setup i need ot change to allow the parameters to be use in viewer ????

The free BO Crystal viewer will not allow you to connect to a db and refresh the data. You have to first run the report in Crystal Reports and save it with data after the parameter has already been set to be able to view it with the free viewer.
