Hello,

Very newbie here, hoping for some enlightenment!

This is a hotel based report for guest preferences.

The report contains 2 subreports.  Some of the strings in the subreports are identical to each other and are currently showing in subreport.  Is there a way to filter the subreports so that comments are not duplicated between reports?  Ie. the ones that I have put a cross through below.

Many thanks for any advice...

eg.

Main report: Guest Name

Sub rpt 1 - Current Preferences/Comments:
A - Guest likes red apples
B - Guest has a message waiting at the concierge desk
C - Guest is married with 3 children

Sub rpt 2 - Historical Preferences/Comments:
A - Guest likes red apples
C - Guest is married with 3 children

Hi, Maybe it's not straight the solution you need, but you can somehow do workaround, by using 'union (all)' statement in SQL query (union already use distinct, union all - not)
Instead of using two sub-reports, get both in one sql query. As I can see on example, number of columns and their type are the same, right?

Is it possible to do in your case?

Anyway, if anybody knows how to do this with two sub-reports, it would be good to see.

regards,
M.
