the subreport and Main report used the same SQL storedproc, Is there any way possible to avoid calling the stored procedure Twice to retreive the same data?  Crystal reports 11.

probably not.  if you pass the dataset to CR then it can't call the stored proc (this is the push method).  I run a stored proc and then my app sets the datasource to my dataset.  If you don't have this option, a question that arises is, do you really need the subreport...you already have all the information, but if you are going to summarize a small section of the data for the subreport then there may be no way around it.
