Hi,

I'm currently stuck trying to create a KPI (Key performance Indicator)
report in Crystal 11.

The report is aiming to count the number of Records that have a date difference of less than 5 days.

However the nature of the tables and the joins means that a Main record may have two appointments, though i only need to consider the first even though it appears on the report.

Therefore I created a running total to count the number of appointments per Main record and then tried to apply a formula to only count the 'Over' or 'Under' value based on the record line equalling 1. However this caused an error 'A running total cannot refer to  a print time formula'

Is there a way of counting in this way or ignoring the second appointment row?

Sorry the explaination is a little basic, i'm having trouble explaining this and understanding it myself but any help is appreciated.

Tony

I think I understand you question.
You will want to do a RT as a DistinctCount of the PK field evaluated using a formula ad reset as never.
instead of trying to use a formula field in the evaluation formula write your condition fresh, I am guessing you are using a next() or previous() to find the 5 day rule. Rewrite the condition int he RT.
