Hello folks,
                  Am trying to create a report using the Command feature of crystal reports. I need 3 columns say periodname,periodstartdate and periodenddate. Periodname is monthname, periodstartdate shud return previous month starting date, periodenddate shud previous month end date.

I need the format as follows

period name: Oct 2009
periodstartdate: 10/1/2009
           enddate:10/30/2009


can i pull the alias in the report, i.e can i use the Periodname in the report

select sysdate from dual as "Periodname".
