Topic: Possible to dynamically autofit text fields? Posted: 06 Oct 2009 at 9:27am
I'm fairly new to designing with CR so please bear with me. Is it possible to dynamically auto fit text boxes that are side by side on the same line? I have a first name field and a last name field and for for short first name fields, there is too much of a gap between the first and last name. Can these text boxes by dynamically adjusted to autofit its contents? Thank you.

Either use a text box and place both fields in it (place a text box on the canvas and drag and drop each field into it) or create a formula field to add them together into a single field and then display the formula field. example ... {table.fname} + " " + {table.lname}
