depends on how you want the report. Basically you are going to filter based the date range of 4/1/xxxx - 3/31/xxxx+1. So it depends on your parameters, and if you are getting data via a stored proc/view or directly from the tables.
Lots of factors and ways to accomplish what you are looking to do.
