Hi All,

I'm working with Crystal X and trying to link two tables from two different Oracle databases.  The field I'm linking with is a uniqe field in both tables, however, they do not share the same case.  For Example: Table 1 has a record value of username1 and table 2 has a user name value of USERNAME1.  Is there any way to have Crystal ignore the case or do a case conversion in the link?

Thanks

You could create a cross-product - join the tables using fields in the linking expert in a non-sense way - such as a value that you know is 3 digits to a value that is always greater than 3 digits.  Then within the Report --> Selection Formula --> records option include your actual join with the necessary case conversion.
