ConfusedHow can I copy several formula's (not maually cut & paste) from one subreport to several subreorts.  Each subreport is a program, that have the same fields/ formula's  This difference in the sub-reports is just the selection criteria.  Should I create a template?  I am new to CR, iI'm thinking I should create a reports template with formula's  Possible?

What is the best way to go about this to save days of creating sub-reports that are almost the same?

Thanks in advance!  Enjoy your day!

I would build the report fully, save it an then use that as a template report which can be inserted any # of tiems into the main report.
Although from your description you may want to think about using the main report as grouped on the program field and place teh subreport ont the GH and link on the program field. Then you only need 1 subreport and ot will pass the program as a param down each time it runs per group in the main report.

Big%20smileThank You, I hear what you are saying.  The main report is summary information of 12 progrrams  The sub-reports are the details (with % of Met, Not Met, N/A) of each program.

I have the main report built and have 2 sub-reports built.  Now..can I copy the sub-report to a main report to use as a template?

Thanks again for your quick response.  The weather is too nice to be stuck inside :-)

Hope this delayed response isn't the reason you miss out on the good weather Unhappy
Now that you have a "template report" go into your main report, go to insert a sub-report, choose an existing report and then select the "template report" you made earlier.
Repeat for as many times as you need to (12 total I think). Make sure to place each on it's own section in the main report to avod overlapping (e.g. RFa, RFb,Rfc, etc). Do not place these on the detail sections. It will run once per row of your main report data source which can be thousands of times and cause your crystal to just crash.
Now that you have 12 copies of the template report in the main report you can edit each one manually from the main report to alter the select statement per report. Making a change to one inserted copy will not change any of the others (nor the original template).
Make sense?
