I am attempting to generate a report  for all Items whose quantity on hand is not equal to zero and whose last inventory transactions in the database was on or before 31/12/2004. Inventory transactions in the database are identified by transaction types "pur-stk", "pur-mtl", "stk-mtl".physical count transaction type "adj-cnt" is to be excluded from the search criteria

 

what query would be suitable for the above. i am basically stuck with the syntax to be adopted for the "last transaction" search in the table. table to be searched is the Part transaction History table, which as we know is one of the larger tables in an ERP db.
