Hi Want to use complex sql query , when i copy query into show sql query the table database link option or field explorer is not reflected as per tables selected in query.  Thus cant add fields to display in details etc

Unless I am mistaken what you are describing is accomplished via a Command not the show sql. YOu can write / use a SQL query in a COmmand as the datasource for the report.
