 hi,
 
  please tell me if i am having item description field and i want to print first line of item description in bold.
 like
 HP Notebook
 8 gb /wifi/lan
 i want to print
 HP Notebook in bold and rest in regular
 pls help

if this is all in a one datafield, no, you can't. you could probably break it up using a formula, then you could bold different sections.

right click on 'formula fields', select new, give a name, in this case, say, FirstHalf

uses VB6 syntax, so if you know what makes the first line end say it is a comma you would have something like:
 
left({table.itemDesc}, instr({table.itemDesc}, ",") - 1)
 
this would find the comma, go back one character and display the left x characters in the {table.itemDesc} field
