When I export a report to Excel there is always an extra line between each line of data.  For instance, the excel file will be as follows:

Line 1:  data
(Line 2 will be completely minimized)
Line 3: data
(Line 4 will be completely minimized)
etc

Is there any way to get rid of those minimized lines besides manually deleting them?

First make a back-up of the Excel file in case you do not like the result of what follows.  In Excel, highlight the entire area yu want corrected.  Then:

Data>Filter>Advanced Filter
 
Select Unique Records Only and OK.  This assumes the blank rows are the only totally identical rows in the spreadsheet.  Since the blank rows are not unique they will be filtered out.
