Hello,

A colleague of mine and I are working on the same report.  When I view the report, two of the fields that calculate a max value do not calculate but they do calculate for him.  The fields are expected and potential impact.

Here's what I see -

Here's what he sees -

I refresh the report data and the timestamp and other report data is updated and correct, but these two fields do not calculate.

We are both using Crystal Reports 10 and the same MySQL ODBC Driver.

Here is the SQL query -

 SELECT `MASTER1`.`mrID`, `MASTER1`.`mrTITLE`, `MASTER1`.`mrSTATUS`, `MASTER1`.`mrURGENT`, `MASTER1`.`mrSUBMITDATE`, `MASTER1`.`HSI__bPotential`, `MASTER1`.`Telephony__bPotential`, `MASTER1`.`Video__bPotential`, `MASTER1`.`HSI__bActual`, `MASTER1`.`Telephony__bActual`, `MASTER1`.`Video__bActual`, `MASTER1`.`Potential__bCustomer__bImpact__Q`, `MASTER1`.`Actual__bCustomer__bImpact__Q`, `MASTER1`.`Affected__bSite`, `MASTER1`.`Supported__bBy`, `MASTER1`.`Urgency`, `MASTER1`.`Desired__bStart__fEnd__bDate`, `MASTER1`.`Desired__bStart__fEnd__bDate__bLink`, `MASTER1`.`End__bDate__fTime`, `MASTER1`.`End__bDate__fTime__bLink`, `MASTER1`.`Is__bthis__ban__bemergency__brequest__Q`, `MASTER1`.`Actual__bStart__bTime`, `MASTER1`.`Actual__bComplete__bTime`, `MASTER1`.`mrDESCRIPTION`, `MASTER1`.`Nodes__fDevices__bAffected`, `MASTER1`.`Louisville__bImpact`,

            `MASTER1`.`Video__bActual`
            ELSE 0
        END AS MAXACTUAL,

 FROM   `MASTER1` `MASTER1`

WHERE Date(`MASTER1`.`Desired__bStart__fEnd__bDate`) >= Date(INTERVAL 1 DAY + curdate())

Please help if you can!

Thanks,

Brian

if the report is the same, the sql is irrelevant...it works in one and not the other.  I know that you checked timestamps, and I am assuming that no changes to the report have been made, so the item that comes to mind is if there are user restriction...user 1 is not allowed to see some data that user 2 is.

if you go and use your colleague's machine to run the same report, logging in as you (if this is needed) and the report runs the same for both of you, then there must be something in the ODBC setup.  If the report is different for both of you, then it would seem to be a permissions issue.
