We have a job description for every job that starts with a title, then asterisks, then a more detailed description.
I need to separate this into two fields. I have the title part, but I can't get only the description part without the leading title and asterisks.
 
Can someone help me?

local stringvar ans := strreverse({table.field});
 
ans:= left(ans, instr(ans,"*")-1);
strreverse(ans)
 
should work, provided that there are not any astericks in the detaile description.
